Today was fairly calm and nice. The thunderstorms have ceased in this region, for today at least, and the wind isn't shaking our window panes. Overall, i would say today was just... comfortable. Maybe, we have a better chance of the thunderstorms staying aw2y now that the barometric pressure is rising. The ground should be entirely dry tomorrow incase you fancy walking across the grass to your mailbox at six in the morning in those new, absorbable, plush slippers you invested in. Let's hope today's weather continues till summer rolls around and the may flowers are here. Here's hoping!

Major National Natural Disasters: None

Today was very raining and the humidity was starting to go through the roof. The heat index wasn't that much lower than the actually temperature but was lowered because of the thunderstorms. visibility is slowly decreasing and s0 is the wind gust. There should be no dew in the morning but the grass will probably still be wet from the skies crying all afternoon unless it dries fairly quickly. Personally I enjoy the rain but I am ready for summer to come on! Pray that tomorrow will be drier and easier on my frizzy hair.

Today was a little drizzly but that's okay, today felt like a good day to stay inside, relax, take a nap, all after school of course though. There should be no dew in the morning but i think the light rain may start up again tomorrow after our clear night sky. It will most likely be overcast the majority of tomorrow and the barometric pressure will drop, I think. The humidity is rising too so there is more moisture in the air making the conditions for precipitation even more possible. Well, we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Major National Natural Diasasters: Earthquakes Hit off the Coast of Alaska

In Anchorange, Alaska, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake has been reported on Thursday, April 29, 2010. No damage has been reported although Anchorange and other parts of southern Alaska are shaken. The quake was reported at 1:48 A.M. It has been said by the USGS National Earthquake Information Center in Golden, Colorado, that the earthquake was most strongly felt in the Valdez area. The quake was about a hundred miles from Anchorange and about 20 miles deep.

Weather summary:

The temperature has been inching upward throughout the week and is now feeling great! There should be no dew in the morning even though the dew point temperature is higher. It has been getting slightly windier as we go further into week so a light jacket should still be kept close by. The humidity has also been rising which could possibly mean more rain fairly soon and the barometric pressure is falling. The skies are c;ear today but who knows how long that'll last? You should probably enjoy it will it is here because it probably won't. I hope the rain has gotten its fill in April because I am done with April showers, and ready for it to bring may flowers.

Major Weather Disasters: None

As you can see, the temperature dropped a little bit but still felt pretty nice, even with a lot of clouds blocking the sunshine. Today would not be a good day to tan in your backyard. The wind was not too strong so you don't have too worry about your losing your baseball caps except when that slightly stronger gust of wind blew through. The dew point was forty degrees Fahrenheit and our low temperature for today not go that low so dry grass is excepted in the morning. I think the weather may warm up slightly for a couple of days. Here's hoping!

Monday's weather forecast is slightly chilly and mostly cloudy but luckily, there will be no dew in the morning. That's how I like to start my mornings. The humidity was higher due to previous rainfall over the weekend and the wind gust was slightly stronger. The heat index was not available to me today but it felt relatively the same to the actual temperature when I was outside. I think tomorrow will warm up just a smidgen but should still be could. A small, light jacket will probably be needed this week but definetly nothing heavy. Keep looking out for signs of anymore precipitation but pray for the best.

Major Weather Events In the Past 24 Hours: None

The weather today began off as cool with a slight breeze that warmed up as the day wore on. Shorts and capris were acceptable by mid-afternoon but might have not provided enough warmth in the early morning hours. There was no major gust of wind, just the continual flow of air through your hair. The dew point for today was at 48 degrees Farenheit, and since the temperature was not reached, there will be no soggy lawns tomorrow. The heat index was about two degrees Farneheit above the actual recorded temperature, and therefore there should be no major difference between what the temperature feels like, and what it actually is.
